Flash Fiction: “The Final Voyage of the Émilie du Châtelet.”

This may well be the shortest story I’ve ever written.  Enjoy!

The Final Voyage of the Émilie du Châtelet, by Alexander Paul Willging

Word Count: 61

The ISS Émilie du Châtelet.  She’s a beautiful ship.  Shame about the demon on Deck Twelve.

Bless her, though.   Letting herself fall into the event horizon, just so we could escape.  Never did give her central computer enough credit, did we?

And there’re plenty more demons where that came from.  Lucky for us that the ISS Voltaire just cleared for launch…
